Scottish contemporary art combining urban and wild environments
inspired by the recent lockdown measures, having a family (all the
threes) , a desire to get into the highlands of Scotland, and a
increased appreciation of Scotland's beauty, history, and wildlife.
Features include highland cows, red deer, eagles, unicorns, (scotland's national animal), the erratic weather in the Defender , Scottish plants; gorse, heather, conifers, and thistles, haggis, whisky, saltires, the Loch Ness monster, The Flying Scotsman, etc etc.
Textured using photographs from walls around Kelvingrove park, and specifically Kelvingrove museum, where we spent many hours during lockdown.
This pairs well with 1 Loch View as that one features the same Land Rover Defender in the Calmac ferry, the tenements building features as a sand castle alongside the wee bothy/cottage, as well as a few other details.
